NR Non-Respirable Paper and Blankets- All NR fiber products have a minimum fiber diameter
of 5 microns. These products were developed for customers who are concerned about the
possible adverse health effects of breathing fine diameter fibers. NR products are
available in paper, blanket, and HT blanket. These products are designed for use in the
non-ferrous metals and appliance industry.
SF Soluble Fiber- In addition to the NR fiber products, IPI also offers a soluble product. This fiber is a calcium silicate fiber and is useful to 1800oF/1000C. SF fiber is available in blanket form in 6 and 8 PCF densities.
